Hi everybody. As I promised in our last blog, I wanted to update you on the past two weeks of church news.

May 6th we had one-hundred and thirty-six in attendance. Since our building only sits one-hundred and twenty-five someone had to stand. The children always go to the basement after the song service so the late comers also got a chair after all. The service hosted a special speaker/singer and his band. He was an ex-homosexual/transvestite who for two hours kept the people's attention with his testimony and songs. Church was over at 2:00 P.M. How’s that for getting out late!

Yesterday was Mother's Day. It is always a big occasion with gifts and flowers for the moms and a dinner for the entire church. The finally tally was one-hundred and seven.

At the end of the service I had the privilege to baptize a young man. I had baptized his dad many years before. May he serve the Lord as faithfully as his dad, or even better.

Mary and I hope your Mothers' Day was as delightful as ours. Blessings to all who read the blog.

Johnathan and Mary
