October 20

Hi everyone. Lets catch you up to date on Mary and I and the work in Aguadilla.

A couple of events have occurred since our last posting. First I was surprised by a decision of a gentleman who's wife is an active member of our congregation. He, after a bout of pneumonia and a week in the hospital, thought long and hard about his relationship with the Lord. He promised the Lord to serve him after he got out. That included being baptized. Within five days of him being released from the hospital he asked me help him fulfill his promise. He, his wife and I were jubilant, as were no less, the angels of the Almighty.

Drama for Friendship Day

In our last blog I told everyone we would write again after Friendship Day. That was yesterday. It was a fine occasion. The building was at 90% capacity. Mary counted one-hundred and twelve in spite of sickness and other commitments by five families in the church. Several visitors dotted the congregation to celebrate with us. Among the special events was a mini-drama, a performance by the dance ministry and reflections on friends by four members of the congregation. Afterwards we had a picnic on the church grounds. While the the adults talked and enjoyed a nice dinner, the children played in an 22' inflatable house.
Interpretive Dance

Sunday we started Forty Days of Random Acts of Kindness as well as began helping (along with thousands of others) Samaritan's Purse reach their goals.

That's it. I'll pause here.  Thanks for taking time to read the blog.
