Well, I am back on the island after a quick two weeks in the States. Although I always enjoy visiting churches and individuals it is always good to get back to the island and the work at hand.I was able to visit five churches in So. IL. I would have liked to have visited with two more and by doing so have visited all the supporting churches in that part of the country. However, time was limited. It will have to wait until next time.
Everyone was very kind and gracious. A special thanks to the Friendship Church of Christ, and the Christian Churches in Anna, Johnston City, Marion, West Frankfort, IL. Also my hats off to Nolen Macfarlane for hosting me in Johnston City. He is always gracious and makes me feel most welcome. He even shared his cache of "Klondike ice cream bars" with me :-)
I also had the opportunity to visit with my sister, brother and their spouses. It was great to see family again; special moments to be treasured indeed.
