Today was the second annual Children's Day in our church. As the name suggests, it was a Sunday dedicated to the children of our congregation. There were kids everywhere filling up the entire front row of our building. For the children's and adult's delight there was a puppet drama about Jonah, children's songs, a solo by one of the children, artistic dance, pantomime, a children's choir and a class taught by the children's Sunday School teacher. As the program ended the word that came to my mind was "WOW!

The people were thrilled with the presentation. Laughter rebounded off of the walls the entire service. As for the attendance, the official "bean counter", Mary, reported we had one-hundred and six in attendance...good for us.

After the service there was a a time of sharing (food) in the basement. A man dressed up as Fred Flintstone tied balloon animals for all of the children and even for a few who were young at heart.

So far, we are surpassing the number of first time visitors from any previous year. As I looked at the full parking lot and several new faces I was reminded by the Lord that He is in charge of this congregation and this work in Aguadilla. The Apostle Paul says, we plant and water but God gives the increase. And so it is in the church in Aguadilla.

Thanks for reading. Until next week... do pray for us... always!
