Today is Monday, a new work week. I normally take Mondays off but today we are starting a small project at the church. The board has decided to raise the sidewalk a
bout six inches. Without going into details, it is part of our on going efforts to control occasional flood issues with our building. So four of us men are going to tackle that project this week.
This past Saturday our church sponsored a Spiritual Gift Inventory conference. The turnout was very good, as good as we could hope for for the half-day biblical conference. We counted sixty-two adults and children present. In support of the conference our church provided lunch for everyone. Mary, as usual did a fine job organizing that aspect of the event. Also, for the children present, we provided a Bible class as well as a clown show. Over all, the whole event was quite a success.I guess that wraps it up until next time.
