Hi from hot, sultry Puerto Rico. Summer has arrived with a vengeance. Last night I thought I was going to melt through the mattress. Few houses have air conditioners and ours is no exception. Today for church we had a guest speaker who taught about marital relationships. In addition to teaching, he and his wife were wonderful singers and blessed us with a concert followed by a VERY long message...(well it cannot all be good). All told, it was a good day. We had a good attendance of ninety-two.
This week I begin preparing for the upcoming men's retreat; you know, sermons, lessons, menus, lists of what to bring, etc. We have around twenty signed up for the first men's retreat in over twenty-five years. Our church is sponsoring the event. May the Lord add His blessings.
