July 21

Hi, its Sunday night....time to do the blog. Hope your summer's going well; busy and blessed like ours, we hope.

In my last blog I mentioned that Mary was in Chicago. She got back about a week and a half ago. The house was getting quite lonely.

But there was little time to relax. July 13, two days after her arrival, we had a 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. kids camp. We were pretty happy with the turnout. It had been years since we had done anything like this. Almost all of the church kids ages 2-11 were present. Including the adults, we had 35.

Yesterday was an all-church outing. We had 37 get on a big yellow school bus for the all day trip to the south side of the island.

Another missions team was with us in church Sunday before last. This team, working under the auspices/supervision of Chad and Chandi Mayes, new missionaries to the northwest side of the island, worked at a Christian Elementary/High School in town. They accomplished their goals and made a major contribution toward helping the school get ready for classes in a couple of weeks.

Mary and I had a guest last week, Darci West from Dallas, TX. We met Darci when we were in Dallas for our nephew's wedding last March. At our invitation, she traveled to Aguadilla to work along side the mission team from KY. I know everyone she met was blessed as she gave her all to the tasks at hand.

I guess that wraps it up. Thanks for reading.
