Today we had a fine turnout at church, a full house. Mary counted ninety-five and that is a good day for us. I believe we had fifteen visitors, several first timers. So far we are exceeding last years pace for visitors and I might add, last year we set a record with one-hundred and fifty first time visitors.

Today was ordination Sunday for two new deacons. The church was delighted with their choices and we believe those chosen will serve the congregation well.
During the service, some of the children presented the acrostic "AMOR" (love). Afterwards everyone (many dressed in red and white) filed to the basement for cake and refreshments for an early celebration of St. Valentines Day.

As the people filed out the youth of the church sold candy roses and other sweets to fund their yearly activities. Most everything they prepared was sold. Smiles abounded.
The service was very positive today; good singing, laughter, warm greetings and linger longers after the service. In spite of occasional rough spots that all churches face, our church is on the move and a spirit of love and unity marks its character and personality.
As always, thanks for your continued interest in this labor of love. God bless you.
Johnathan and Mary
