Johnathan and Mary have been serving the Lord on the island of Puerto Rico for over fifty years. In many ways, they are now more "Boricua" than American! Over the years their calling has taken them to several towns on the island to co-establish/establish three churches. They were also part of a team that started a Christian elementary school in the San Juan area.

Currently the Reeces live and serve Christ in the beautiful town of Aguadilla, where they founded La Iglesia Cristiana de Aguadilla in 1987.

In addition to her involvement in the church, Mary also taught in the English Department at the University of Puerto Rico in Aguadilla until retirement in June, 2020. Johnathan continues to actively minister and guide islanders into mature Christians. By God's grace, together with local church leaders, Johnathan and Mary have guided the Aguadilla church toward growth from four in 1987 to today's typical Sunday attendance of sixty to seventy.

The Reeces have two sons, Andy and Ben, both of whom are married. Andy, his wife Tania, and their daughter live in Puerto Rico. Ben and his wife Tiffany live near Chicago, Illinois.
