Hi everyone. So far so good with hurricane season. After a couple of scares, all of the storms have dissipated or gone north of Puerto Rico.Last week Mary and I both were under the weather with colds. It seems I picked it up at the concert last week and then proceeded to give it to Mary, our granddaughter and now her mother. Fortunately, it is nothing dangerous, just some discomfort.
Yesterday's church service was well attended. Mary said we had ninety-one for church. There were several first time visitors. I guess that is always a good sign. Then today our church enjoyed an outing. I was surprised when fifty signed up for a boat trip on a local lake followed up with a tour of a beautiful cave called Window Cave. The day was definitely a success.
