Hi everyone. Hope all is well with you. I'll keep this short. I know time is precious.

September 27 |
Since our last blog we had the privilege of baptizing a believer. This delightful sister had been attending our church for sometime and was actively involved in many areas of our church events. It was great to see her make a deeper commitment through christian baptism. Like most everyone in P.R., she was baptized as a baby. Of course we believe Scripture teaches believers baptism. So as the opportunity presents itself, we always lead people to a fuller understanding of the New Testament teaching on the subject and leave the decision in their hands. She chose "yes".

September 28 was another annual event for our church, Pastors' Day. It was an occasion when the church recognized the elders/pastors with a special program. That day included an interpretive dance by our new dance ministry, composed of young women and girls. Also, three adults shared some of their thoughts about the leaders of the church and presented them with a gift. Afterwards, the entire church enjoyed dinner in the basement. I believe we counted ninety-eight present.
Coming up soon is Friendship Day, set for the 19 of October. I'll give you the details in the next blog.
God bless you.
Johnathan and Mary
