March 2

Full house
Good morning. Yesterday was the church's twenty-ninth anniversary. One-hundred and twenty-nine were in attendance. We had to put some chairs down the middle to accommodate the crowd.

God has richly blessed the congregation and our efforts throughout the years. Many, many have become believers. Of those, many are still in Aguadilla and form the existing congregation. (We now have 134 in our directory and fifty-nine family units.) Still others have moved away to the States and even overseas. And of course, sadly some have fallen away. As the case may be, the building would not even begin to hold twice/three times over the people if all who were converted were still congregating with us.

Pantomime ministry
Our pantomime ministry performed and did a great job. They practiced once/twice a week for three weeks until the pantomime was presented to perfection. I particularly delight in the ages of the group; from teens and young adults to a teen at heart who adds stability and wisdom to the group. It is a perfect blend.

Guest speaker
Our speaker was a pastor in one of the area churches. He taught that the congregation's future and destiny is the Lord's. He will be faithful to us if we will be faithful to Him and our calling. It was a very encouraging message and I heard "amen" over and over as he spoke.

I might add, some of the people of the church (Decorations Ministry) beautified the building for the occasion while many others prepared a great supper.  As in other major events, many left tired but content.

I'll be traveling to the States March 10-23; speaking in South Carolina and Tennessee. Hmm... would you all please get over this thing called winter/snow/cold. I would be a happier about my pending trip :-). God bless you.
