Good attendances
Hi everyone. Hope all is well with you.  Mary and I are fine and daily, give thanks to God for his goodness. Here is the update for Aguadilla.

Church attendance has been good, the best average attendance in the history of the congregation. I looked over the August and September attendance records. They read: 114, 112, 75, 102, 104, 85, 110, 109, and 114. Our building has a seating capacity of 125 so we are pushing the seating limits. The board is considering our two options; a second service or expand the building. The latter is the favored of the two possibilities.
Father and son baptized

Also, since the last blog, we have had the delight of seeing three more people added to the Body of Christ. Each professed his/her faith and subsequently was baptized. It was a sweet moment for them and the entire church.

Women's prayer ministry
This past Sunday was Pastors' Day. It is an annual event in our church. The congregation honored its leaders with special songs, one of which was written by one of the church members. Also, there was an interpretative dance done by our granddaughter, a special prayer for the leaders offered by the women's prayer ministry, gifts given, and a special message delivered to the leaders and the congregation. Then it was wrapped up with a dinner in the basement.

Granddaughter celebrating Pastors's Day
This weekend our youth and leaders are off  to a retreat in the mountains. We hope to have around twenty to twenty-five adults and youth participate.

Finally, but not least, our church is attempting to begin an English service on Sunday afternoons, headed up by Santos Torres. Santos and I work together three days a week. We believe there is a segment of the community that we may be able to reach. Although it will start small, persistence will pay off. The Spanish congregation here started with one person and now it is a solid thriving body of believers. From time to time I will update you on this effort. If you want to know how to pray for Aguadilla be sure and include this.

That is all for now. God bless you.
