What a great week it was. Thursday our son Ben and his wife Tiffany traveled to Puerto Rico to surprise Mary on her birthday. She was caught totally off guard and delighted to have them home for a few days.

We had a great service today at church. Mary counted one-hundred and two in attendance. The singing was lively and enhanced with two specials. At the end of the service I had the priviledge of baptizing a gentleman who had been visiting our church for the last month.

The day was concluded with our annual kite festival. After a light lunch everyone piled outside to fly homemade kites decorated with the theme: "What the church means to me."
This week is Easter week. For Good Friday we will have a special service with drama, interpretive dance and special music. I expect over one-hundred for the occasion. Then next Sunday our choir sings to celebrate the Lord's resurrection. We will give you the details next week.
Mary and I hope you have a good week.
