Today is the last Sunday of the year. It was a great way to spend the last moments of the year...with believers in the Lord. Today the children's bell choir played and their music was well received in spite of a few wrong notes and miscues.

New Years Eve is upon us. Although some churches have services we opted to have nothing. It is a very important family night. Almost every family will be together to see the old out and the new in. As for ourselves, we have been invited to spend the evening with our daughter-in-law's parents, Luis and Carmen Ruiz. It will be a night of food, firecrackers and dominoes, a Puerto Rican favorite. Christmas day was a lot of fun. We had fifteen people over to share Christmas dinner...a kind of tradition for us.

Christmas continues on for Puerto Rico until after Three Kings Day. We have a big activity planned at church for that day. More about that next week.Happy New Years. God bless you.
