Well, another week is behind us; a busy, but good, week. Nearly every evening was filled with a meeting and/or choir preparations for Easter week. With Easter just two weeks away the choir is digging hard to be ready for what is sure to be a great occasion. As for our Good Friday service, one of our elders will be giving a dramatic teaching of the tabernacle, the high priest and of course the Christian parallel. For added effect, he will be wearing a beautiful high priest costume made by one of the church members.

Mid-week we took around fifty gifts donated by our church to a local charity that specializes in troubled and under-privileged children. Our gifts were well received by both the children and staff. Also this week our church paid the light bill of a family visiting us regularly. The husband is out of work and with their back against the wall appealed to us for for help. The church does so much throughout the year. I am very proud of our people and the church leadership.
Next week is our annual kite festival after church, which is always a fun day filled with colorful creations. Today there was a skit promoting the activity. Each family is given a kite and asked to decorate it based on the theme of the event.
Concerning Mary, her eyes continue to improve slowly. It is back to the doctor Monday. Hopefully she will continue to mend.
God bless you.
Johnathan and Mary Reece
