This week, the blog is being written by Mary. (Johnathan decided you needed to hear from me for a change.)It was a good week for us. Services today were exciting to be a part of. One of the young men of the church taught the adult Sunday School class and did an outstanding job--it was only his second time to teach. It's good to see the future leaders taking charge!
The sermon really touched the hearts of many people, who asked for prayer at the end of the service. Johnathan spoke on the Lord, reminding us that there is only one way to Heaven, and that is through Christ. A man whom we have been praying for a long time, raised his hand for prayer. The Lord is working on the hearts of several of the people here.
Next week is "Pastors' Day" in which we honor our elders; Pablo, Edwin and Johnathan. A great program is planned. The children were all busy today practicing for next week. After the service we will top it off with a dinner of chicken, rice, beans, salad, and cake.
