Today our church split. But it was a good split, a temporary split. Part of our church, twenty-six to be exact, was at our annual youth retreat while the rest remained behind in Aguadilla. This year I stayed behind and the young adults of our church were in charge of the retreat. They taught and supervised the youth who also did their part teaching and preaching. Everyone came back pumped and excited, asking for more, a longer retreat next time. It was really sweet to see our people step forward and move the youth program forward without me.
As for the service here, we had three first time visitors. It was culminated with our first baptism of the year. This man had been attending our services for the past nine months. After a Bible study one evening he committed to obeying the Lord in Christian baptism. It was a sweet way to end a good service.
