June 30

Hi everyone. Hope all is well with you. Mary and I have been in the States for a little over two weeks. One week remains before we return the 7th of July. We departed for the States June 14th after church and flew to AZ to spend a short thirty-six hour visit with our forwarding agent Bill Archer and his sweet wife Anita.

Wedding day for a former church member
From AZ we flew to CA and drove to Lake Tahoe where I performed a wedding for a former church member. It was a beautiful affair located on the shore of that famous lake. What a delight it was to see this young man again, as well as meet his bride. His father, mother, and siblings, all former members of our church in Aguadilla, were there as well. It was so good to see them again.

Leaving Saturday 21st after a brief visit with some very dear friends in Walnut Creek, CA, we flew to Ft. Smith, AR to begin our speaking engagements in AR and OK. Everywhere we have visited we have been well received and it has been so good renewing acquaintances and making new friends.

Back in PR, things have gone well. Attendance has been pretty good in spite of a summer slump that seems to affect not only our church but churches everywhere. We have people vacationing in IL, FL, GA, NC, India, the Caribbean and all across the island. Things settle down in early August.

I believe that catches the high points. I will close for now. God bless you.

Johnathan and Mary
